WINTER NEWS
Winter Reminders for a Safe & Cozy Season
1. Dress for Winter Success

Outdoor play is an essential part of our day—it keeps children active, energized, and happy. To ensure they stay warm and comfortable, please send your child with proper winter clothing every day.
This includes:
A warm winter jacket
Snow pants
Waterproof boots
Mittens or gloves
A hat and neck warmer (scarves are not recommended for safety)
Labeling each item with your child’s name helps us return lost gear quickly.
2. Stay Updated on Inclement Weather Alerts
Winter weather can change quickly! We encourage families to stay tuned to school updates, local news, and weather alerts for any closures or modified schedules.
If the school needs to communicate urgent weather-related information, we will send updates through our usual channels, so please ensure your contact details are current.
3. Reporting Absences Before 8:00 AM
If your child will be absent, arriving late, or leaving early due to weather or illness, please remember to text the school absence line before 8:00 AM.
Early reporting helps our team ensure every child is accounted for and safe
6. Progress Reports
Progress report cards go home this week. Please check your inbox and folders to stay up to date with your child’s learning and development.
7. Dietary Changes & Travel Notifications

If there are any new dietary needs, allergies, or upcoming travel days, please contact our supervisor Dianne as soon as possible. Keeping her informed helps us maintain safe and accurate records.
8. Registration for 2026–2027
9. Summer Camp Update
Please note that our Summer Camp program for ages 6–12 will not be offered this year. We encourage families to plan accordingly.
Muchas gracias!
